GP refuses to administer vaccines to his patients in Hungary
Recently, a Hungarian General Practitioner has stirred up both political and public opinion when he decided that he is not going to take part in the nation-wide vaccination program and will not vaccinate the approximately 2-3,000 people under his care.
The decision of Csaba Kiss, the aforementioned GP was even a discussion topic in Viktor Orbán’s Sunday talk at Kossuth Rádió. The news site and TV programme ATV has managed to reach the GP via phone, who told them the details of why he decided that he is not going to take part in the vaccination program.
The GP from Erdőkertes said that the whole vaccination program is chaotic and the people who need to be vaccinated changes every week.
He highlighted that the Chinese vaccine has not yet been approved by the EMA and generally every vaccine is effective in a “clinical trial phase” and he does not really want to be part of this “drug testing”. He also thinks that it should be the government that installs vaccination sites as his office is shared and covid patients can meet with those waiting for the jab. Also, he added that the waiting room is also not big enough to observe epidemiological restrictions.
“If there are ten people sitting there waiting to be vaccinated by say, a Moderna jab, you could imagine whether we spread or prevent the coronavirus,” – he said to ATV.
The GP told ATV that he has been threatened by the local government that they are going to suspend Csaba’s contract. The National Public Health and Medical Officer Service have not threatened but warned him of possible sanctions.
The Hungarian Medical Chamber clearly distances itself from physicians whose activities and expressions are incompatible with the chamber’s ethical norms, they told Index. The organisation has stated previously that they consider any expression to be conflicting with the Hippocratic oath that underestimate the threat of the pandemic, undermine the importance of individual defence and which are anti-vaccination related.
“These statements undermine confidence in healthcare and our joint efforts to curb the pandemic,” – the Hungarian Medical Chamber emphasized.

Dr. Csaba Kiss is an ABSOLUTE DISGRACE to his profession.
Since he obviously enjoys making political statements, he should throw away his stethoscope and prescription pad to instead become a full-time looney of the Dobrev Klara (D.K.) party.
This doctor has many good points in what he says, especially about Sinopharm vaccine. And he has right to refuse taking part in the govt’s propaganda.
The Doctor that gave me the vaccination, here in the 13th Budapest, should not be allowed to practice as a GP (Háziorvos). Maskless, disorganised, clearly suffering from senile dementia (a short term memory of less than a minute). His rottweiler of a nurse / medical secretary actually administers the jab because the Dr is too blind to see the needle and his hands shake too much to do it. The first and last time I am going to that place, that’s for sure.
He is right though. Any medicine not approved by the European directorate is technically illegal. As the Chinese are notorious for short cuts and underhand supply chain practices, on this one I don’t blame him. To threaten him is not democratic either. But we have to do something I guess. Rock and a hard place springs to mind.
they are just letting any doctor’s office do vaccines willy nilly? without special training or protocols in place? tht is scary.
